March 2007: On March 3rd 2007, I caught up with Dick Coughlin, the drummer of the Cherry Slush, who had several cool tunes but none cooler than their national USA label release of "I Cannot Stop You" which many first heard on Dick Clark's American Bandstand Show when the song was being rated.

Although the song was a regional hit, and #1 in the Cherry Slush's hometown of Saginaw, Michigan, the 45 release only peaked at #119 on the Billboard national charts. I know when I first heard the song, I thought then and even now, that it was simply the coolest tune ever. I never understood how this song, as many that I feature on my show, was never a Top Hit!!

Talking with Dick Coughlin for me was a real honor as I learned so much about the song that I fell in love with back in 1968, the Cherry Slush, and how good so many of their other songs were.

If you missed the March 3rd 2007 broadcast, or simply wanna hear it again, please enjoy this: mp3 replay of that magical night.

February 2007:

Relics and Rarities continues to be a labor of love for me to produce both on Saturday nights live on www.topshelfoldies.com, and the syndicated edition which is a bit more radio friendly and as such has been well received on commercial radio including Clear Channel's KLDJ-FM in Duluth, Minnesota.

Progress continues to be made, slowly but surely, on the American Jukebox project which is a radio show co-hosted with Tommy James.  Tommy continues to be very active both with touring and recording exciting new material.  Tommy James fans may want to visit his website at www.tommyjames.com.

Relics and Rarities seems to have acquired a new fan of the show who just so happens to be a very influential programmer of an oldies network.  I remain hopeful that some creative programmer will help in my effort to have Relics and Rarities, and the many great tunes that deserve a second chance, to be heard on as many stations as possible.

On January 27th, 2007, I had the honor of having TV show host Lloyd Thaxton as my guest on Relics & Rarities.  Lloyd Thaxton hosted his own American Bandstand type of a show called "The Lloyd Thaxton Show".  The show began in 1961 on KCOP-TV Los Angeles and in 1964 became nationally syndicated in 127 markets and remained on the air until sometime in 1968.

The Relics & Rarities show with Lloyd Thaxton attracted what I believe to be a record listening audience and attracted many very special guests who called to reminisce with Lloyd.  Some of the guest recording stars that called were as follows:Diane Renay, Johnny Madara (Spokesmen), Mary Weiss (Shangri-Las), Tommy James, Howard Kaylan (Turtles), and Bob Miranda (Happenings).

Perhaps one of the biggest surprises of the show was when Lloyd Thaxton discovered that the Slauson was no longer his all time favorite dance, but rather a very special dance from a rare 45 that Lloyd said he would have made a hit if only he heard the 45 when released in 1963. You must hear this rare 45 and Lloyd's incredible reaction to it!!

If you like radio lunacy, you might enjoy our late night 3am phone call (2am Central time) to Bill Dalton an original Royal Teen, who I thought at the time was Bill Crandall (Buddy Randell) of the Knickerbockers.  It was a crazy radio moment for sure!!

Please note that the Thaxton interview audio starts off with much difficulty hearing Lloyd.  The audio was corrected about 12 minutes into the interview.

I hope all is well with you the radio listeners, supporters of Relics & Rarities, and fellow record geeks like me.  Please drop me a line with any comments or suggestions.  Until next time....keep listening for Relics & Rarities!!!

November 2006

On Oct 21st, Dave interviewd Charlie Calello - one of the top arrangers in the world, and former member of the Four Seasons. Listen to the interview here.

Thanks to Steven Green for providing the audio!

In the next few weeks, we will be adding a few more current shows to the audio archive as well -- So keep checking back for your "Dave the Rave fix"

September 2006

I would like to update those of you who have been so very supportive of my show, "Relics & Rarities", and have continued to inquire as to the status of this show, and in general, your inquiries into the radio exploits of mine.

Relics & Rarities is once again being produced as a 1 hour radio show for radio thanks to some enterprising and creative radio station personnel who have requested that I produce a Relics & Rarities show for their airwaves. Let me briefly tell you how that all came to be as I thank you the fans who actually made that possible.

Radio people love to read radio message boards like the XM Fan Board (www.xmfan.com) and others. Minnesota radio jock, the Rayman of KLDJ-FM, read some passionate pleadings from fans asking that XM 60's return Relics & Rarities back to the airwaves. Intrigued by what he had read, Rayman explored this website and read more about myself, as well as having listened to some archived shows that are presented on this site. Rayman liked what he heard so he got his program director (PD), Scott Klohn, to listen to the archive shows as well.

I received an email from KLDJ-FM asking if I would make the show available for their station which features syndicated shows on the weekend. I looked at their lineup of Little Steven's Underground Garage, Dick Clark, etc, and said why not Dave the Rave. If a Clear Channel affiliate would welcome Relics & Rarities, then I will start to produce a show for them similar to what was done for XM 60's. Relics & Rarities has been airing on KLDJ-FM Sunday mornings at 10am Minnesota Time, and I am being told by the PD that the show is being very well received.

WQMA-AM is a similar story as to how they came to carry Relics & Rarities. Station owner Jason Konarz saw a post on the XM Fan board about my American Jukebox project that I am producing with rock icon Tommy James. Jason contacted me about American Jukebox being one of the syndicated shows that WQMA carries during the weekend. I informed Jason that American Jukebox, although slowly but surely getting closer to being radio available, was not ready yet. Jason asked about Relics & Rarities which he said he was always amazed at how much listener support there was for the show, being that years later, fans were still demanding its return to the XM airwaves.

WQMA has now agreed to carry Relics & Rarities on Friday's at 4pm Central time. WQMA streams on the internet at www.q1520radio.com, and Relics & Rarities will follow Ross Brittain's Hit Machine program. I hope many of you will tune in the program via the internet stream, or on air if you live in the area serviced by that particular station.

Relics & Rarities is once again being aired by stations that solicited me for this show. I appreciate that very much and I thank those brave programmers who apparently wear their own suits and march to their own beat.

If anyone reading this wishes to recommend Relics & Rarities to any other station, XM, Sirius, or local station, please feel free to help us make the connection as new shows are now being produced once again. Contact or email your station of choice and ask them to contact me regarding Relics & Rarities. (dave@davetherave.com)

Those of you who have gotten to know me, know that I do these shows because I love the music. I love giving 45's and the artists behind them a second chance for the many records that fell between the cracks and deserve to be heard on the radio. That is my principal motivation for producing this show!

I continue to do a live internet edition of Relics & Rarities, which is a slightly less commercial edition of Relics & Rarities, most Saturday nights from 10pm to 3am Eastern time. The broadcast can be heard at www.topshelfoldies.com.

American Jukebox, a radio show being produced with Tommy James continues to move ahead, although slower than perhaps initially thought as Tommy's recording and touring career has been accelerated with the release of Tommy's new CD "Hold The Fire" (www.tommyjames.com). The legendary arranger, producer, performer Jimmy Wisner has begun consulting on the American Jukebox project.

Please check the audio link at this website to hear some of the new shows being produced for radio, and hopefully to be heard on your station of choice soon.

Thanks for stopping by this site, thanks for your support of Relics & Rarities, and most of all for supporting the music.

------ Dave the Rave, September 2006

May 2005

Just got an e-mail from Dave the Rave, that he would like me to share with his fans and supporters...

"It's been awhile since any new show has been posted on this site which was started by the talented film producer James Hannon who cherished those XM radio shows of mine. My show on XM, "Relics & Rarities" was like life imitating art. The show was imaged as a guy playing tunes on the radio that most would be fired for playing, and I guess that's what happened. I have for the most part remained silent as to the behind the scenes dealings involving XM and myself because I felt there was nothing to gain by airing dirty laundry.

I will tell you that Relics & Rarities almost did return to XM in spring of 2005, as it was approved by a program director at XM who was in love with the show. However, as is often the case in the battle between radio programmers and the powers that be above them, an individual decided that an hour of rarities, that may include a little crackle or pop here and there, was not worthy of the XM digital environment.

Sadly, it's a suit not understanding that an hour for the collector to hear some great rare sides, even if they were coming off of an analog source, would still be a great asset to XM, and its many unique offerings.

XM and satellite radio still offer great potential to the public for diverse programming, as do internet radio and podcasters. I suggest to the public that you do your best to convey to the powers that be, either at XM or whatever you normally listen to, exactly what type of programming you would like to hear. Only by doing this, can the airwaves be filled with what you wanna hear instead of what some suit, who usually doesn't get it, thinks you should hear.

As for what I am doing these days, I continue to have fun doing Relics & Rarities on internet radio on Saturday nights from 9pm-3 or 4am EST on www.topshelfoldies.com. This show is unique as I will play some crackly 45's that I could not play on XM, and I take live phone requests.

The BIG news is that I am working closely with the legendary Tommy James (Shondells) on a cool new radio show that we hope to have syndicated called "American Jukebox". Tommy shares, as I do, a real appreciation for the many cool tunes found on 45 and we share thoughts on these tunes as we literally go through piles of 45's, not knowing what 45 we will play next. It's a fun show and the production of American Jukebox is going great.

Please check the Audio link on this page for some new Relics and Rarities show(s) that were done recently on my internet radio show. Please drop me a line if you have any comments, questions, or thoughts. It's nice knowing that you are out there! dave@davetherave.com

Let me also say thanks to the man who makes this site possible, James Hannon. James is not only a great fan, but someone with his own fans. James produced a great documentary on one of my favorite garage bands of the 60's called "Out of Our Dens- The Richard and the Young Lions Story". It's a great documentary about the band, and what in general happened to many bands that caused many great 45's to be Relics & Rarities material instead of top 25 hits."

December 12th, 2004

A Dave the Rave fan named Gman started a blog at savedaverave.blogspot.com to start a Bring Back Dave the Rave movement. It isn't associated with Dave nor this site, but if it could help get Dave's show back on the satellite radio airwaves, we're all for it!

November 10th, 2004

Dave recently received a visit from Tommy James & Jimmy "The Wiz" Wisner at the Relics & Rarities vault! Tommy was a guest of Dave the Rave on both XM Radio and Topshelf Oldies, and premiered his single "I Love Christmas" on Dave's radio show.

Heres where you can see the pics

October 3rd, 2004

Still waiting for XM to put Dave back on the air. Might be a good time to send a reminder e-mail to them that we are still waiting...

Click here to politely e-mail XM and tell them to bring back the show in its original format! (Don't forget to mention that they broke their promise!)

If they do put Dave back on the air, someone tell me since I've long cancelled my subscription to them thanks to them pulling Dave.

On the plus side, I've become quite hooked on Sirius Satellite Radio and Little Steven's Underground Garage Channel. Its the closest I can find to Dave's format out there. --- With the exception of course, of Dave's weekly Top Shelf Oldies Show on Saturday Nights.

Now for some good news.
Due to me feeling guilty about not updating the site in a lonnnnng time, I pulled some strings and put ALL of Dave's XM shows up on the site for those of you who didn't get to hear it the first time around!!!!

Check out Audio Archives to hear them. I also made a few other minor updates to the site.

July 31st, 2004

Sorry for the long delays in between news posts, but with Dave not being on the air regularly, its kinda hard to find incentive to post... Some big things have happened recently:

Dave has made an appearance on the new Richard and the Young Lions Documentary DVD! I should warn you that I am biased in that it was my my film that he popped up in, but it is Dave news regardless! For more info check out the official RYL Documentary site -- Check out Dave's pictures from the big premiere here

Big news at XM!! According to a post on XM411.com
"An industry website, AllAccess.com, reported Cleve's resignation today, stating that Cleve is headed back home to Tampa to spend time with family (my note - he spent a lot of years at what was then top-rated Q-105 in Tampa - I had the pleasure of listening to him there when I was traveling in that area). They are also reporting his replacement as PD is Pat Clarke from 50's on 5, with Matt The Cat assuming MD duties at 50's on 5. "

We wish Cleve well whatever he does.. He was the one who believed in Dave enough to get him on XM and fought for him when the suits took him away.. So I'd like to give him a heartfelt thanks! Hopefully the new PD will be wiling to keep up the fight to get Dave back on the air!

In a related note, I would like to mention that I shut down my XM subscriptions because without Dave on the air in a regular spot, Sirius is the better satellite radio system... Right now, Little Steven's Underground Garage Channel on Sirius is the best place to find music like what Dave would play.

Theres other news-a-brewing in Dave the Rave World, but we have to let it come to fruition before we say anything!

June 20th, 2004

Ok, received some promising news regarding Dave's future! It seems that the outcry for killing Dave's weekly show was far more than XM expected and "the suits" are starting to take notice that Relics and Rarities is pretty popular...

First off, THANK YOU for showing your support!
It tells Dave that we really do appreciate his show and that he is doing something right...

Secondly - Now that we got XM's attention, we absolutely cannot stop sending those (polite) messages telling XM that we want Relics and Rarities back as a full hour show!!

The two song clips throughout the week that they are substituting for the hour show would be a nice promotion for the full hour show, but they are hardly a replacement... I dont know about the rest of you, but I have no plans to listen all day to XM just so I can hear these randomly placed spots..

So keep::

  • Voicing your support on these threads at XMFan.com or XM411.com
  • Click here to politely e-mail your displeasure to 3 key people at XM and Dave... I stress politely because writing a nasty note will only succeed in getting your letter ignored by them..

June 17th 2004
Sorry for lack of news lately, but I've been on vacation the last 2 weeks..

Not directly Dave related, but I would like to announce that we lost an unsung rock legend today.

Howard "Richard" Tepp - "Richard" of Richard and the Young Lions passed away today of leukemia. He was 56.

Within the last few months, Richard and the band had just put the finishing touches on a CD that they had been working on for almost 3 years, and it really sucks that he will not be able to see the fruits of his labor of love.

As many of you know, I just finished the documentary of the band, and I saw first-hand that he really loved the music - so much that he would drive 300 miles (roundtrip) almost every Sunday for almost 3 years to go to recording sessions.

Richard was a good guy and a friend to both Dave & I, and he will be missed tremendously.

This is Dave the Rave related in that Dave & I first met through the band, and the very first (non-intro) song that he played on his premiere XM show was RYL's "Open Up Your Door".

May 30th, 2004

Received an e-mail from Dave thanking everyone for our support and ways to try and keep the show alive... Click here to read

Dont forget, I also uploaded the missing show (#24) yesterday afternoon in the Audio Archive

May 29th 2004

Dave's last (for now) XM show is now up - as well as it's setlist... It's a perfect sendoff for my favorite show... Check out Audio.

Also, the missing show (#24) is also up this weekend - Thanx to Lee for catching it whenever it finally did air! Check out Audio.

Now for all the news..

First off, Dave and I would like to thank everyone who showed their support last week... You definitely have been making your voice heard to the 60's channel on Xm... Please keep it up!

If you're just tuning in, you can pick up the fight to keep Dave's show on the air by:

  • Voicing your support on these threads at XMFan.com or XM411.com
  • Click here to politely e-mail your displeasure to 3 key people at XM and Dave... I stress politely because writing a nasty note will only succeed in getting your letter ignored by them...

Now, a few things we need to straighten out based on a few emails and posts that I saw this last week...

  • Regardless of any e-mail Phlash of XM has sent to the contrary, Dave is not being uncooperative in keeping his show on the air... There probably will be short clips of Relics and Rarities haphazardly during the week on XM 60's on 6... Not nearly enough by any means, but it shows that Dave is being cooperative.
  • Cleveland Wheeler is not the enemy... I believe that he truly has been a supporter of Dave's show from the beginning... He's the one who got Dave on XM in the first place...
  • Dave is absolutely not holding out for more money (I really laughed when I saw that one) - I can honestly say that Dave does this purely for love of the music and getting it out to fans...

I would like to mention here that you can catch Dave "live" on his regular TopShelfOldies.com show... You can call in and make requests for songs and see just how much this man loves the music..

It usually begins at 9pm (EST) on Saturday nights, but if he's not on promptly at 9, keep checking back (He's been known to start at 10 sometimes)

May 22, 2004 - part 2
URGENT
XM cancels Relics & Rarities - Last show May 29th, 2004

I just got an e-mail back from Phlash Phelps (XM jock who answered my mail of earlier today) saying: "Well, (Dave's) show is cancelled after the end of the month due to sound quality and complaints of no pad data. So the final show will be on next week"

Suddenly hearing a repeat of Dave's show is not that important anymore... Why on earth would they shelve a show like Dave's??? Its a one-hour a week specialty show that I'm betting isnt very expensive... And from what I've seen in my mailbox, it has a solid and loyal audience...

Sound quality??????? When has radio become more about sound quality than about programming quality?? For the record, Dave's show sounds fine.. 95% of the listening population couldnt tell the difference between Dave's show and the rest of whats being played on XM normally...

This sucks... A show I actually get up early to listen to (and do all this free "for love of the show" work to help promote) is cancelled...

What can we do?

I don't know if it will do any good, but heres what we can try...

  • Start e-mailing the hell out of XM (politely of course - cursing at them will accomplish nothing) asking them to reconsider. Their e-mail is sixties@xmradio.com
  • Keep voting for Dave over at www.xmvote.com - Its quick & easy to do and it might just show them how popular the show really is...
  • Show your support for Relics & Rarities over at XM411.com (you will have to register, but it's free and not nosey about your personal info)... The link takes you right into that particular message thread...
  • E-mail the fine folks over at Sirius Satellite Radio and ask them to pick up Dave's show if XM doesn't want it. Their e-mail address is genfeedback@sirius-radio.com - If I find a better one, I will let you know!

If you like Dave's show and want to continue hearing it, this is absolutely the time to start making your voice known...

May 22nd, 2004

This sucks... Today they're playing the show they played last week (show #25)... AGAIN... I love Dave's show and I dig XM, but this is annoying... After going to bed at 2am last night, i had to set the alarm clock to catch the 8am show - only to find out its a repeat!! This is quite frustrating - especially since this is not the first (or third) time this has happened...

I know Dave has no control over this and is not to blame. XM has really got to get their act together... I'm going to send an e-mail to sixties@xmradio.com complaining about this... I suggest you folk do too.. It'll also show how much support Dave has out there!

Ugh..

By the way, We now have the setlist for this missing show now in Setlists - thanx to Lee Demsey

Speaking of Lee, an apology to him for misspelling his last name in his "Site credits" - it's Lee Demsey (not Dempsey).. An honest mistake - i think i fixed it everywhere on the site..

May 16th, 2004

Thanx to puterguy1 making a return appearance, we now have yesterday's setlist up!

May 15th, 2004

Ok, todays show (#25 aired on 5/15) is now up in the archives - and it has the premiere of Tommy James's new song on it!!!

As for last weeks show - For "whatever" reason, XM did not air Dave's show of last week (5/15/04 - Show #24)... Supposedly they played show #24 for the first time last night (Friday 5/14), but I wasn't listening, so I don't have it... But Dave tells me that XM will air it again next week during the regular show hours... And then show #26 will actually air on May 29th.. It gets confusing, but hopefully things will work themselves out..

URGENT: If you like Dave's show and want to see it continue on XM, it is crucial to send e-mails to sixties@xmradio.com and/or DaveRaveXMRadio@aol.com telling them how much you love the show...

I highly stress the urgency of sending those e-mails ASAP.

May 9th, 2004 - Still no word on why there wasn't a new show on XM this morning.

Ok, I'm trying something here to see if I can bring a little cash in for hosting the site... So, If you look to the bottom of the webpages here and on the sub-pages, theres a few ads there...

We here at DavetheRave.com do not personally know if the ads below are good deals (or not)
(Honestly we have no idea what is in there at any given time)

So if you go to them, treat them as if you found them thru a google search and not a personal recommendation... If they're helpful, great... If not, they're out of the way, so you can easily ignore em..

May 8th, 2004 - Update as of 3:30pm

All three missed shows are now up in the Audio Archive!!! All caught up... Enjoy!

Still no word on why there wasn't a new show on XM this morning..

May 8th, 2004

First off, this morning's XM show was a rebroadcast of the April 17th show. Its unknown as to why right now, but we'll find out what we can and report back when todays show will be broadcast... Can't say I'm too bummed as I hadn't heard that one as of yet... It did give me some breathing room to get the missed shows up..

Ok, update as of 3:30... All three missed shows are now up in the Audio Archive!!! April 17

And as promised, Dave's April 17th show (Show #21) April 17th show (Show #21)April 17th show (Show #21)is now up in the Thanks to Lee for taping it as it aired and sending it to me!

Dave's April 24th show (Show #22) is now up in the Audio Archive! Thanks again to Lee!

Watch this space as the May 1st show should be up soon (also thanx to Lee!)

May 3rd, 2004 - Late Edition

Ok, just a quick update to let you know that I just updated the Setlist archive thanks to users Lee Michael Demsey and Jim D.... Hopefully I will get around to catching up on the audio archives this weekend!

May 3rd, 2004

OK, figured I'd just put a note up and tell everyone who's asking that I haven't stopped updating the site... Also thank you for all the nice words you have said about the site and Dave's show!

The last three weekends have been brutally hectic, so I haven't had a chance to update the site.. But rest easy, thanks to Lee, I have the first two shows I missed on tape, and fully expect to have the third one really soon... Also, I have setlists for the three shows I missed, so I am going to "try" to put those up tonight..

Provided nothing exciting happens next weekend, I should be back in full swing on Saturday!!

By the way, thanx for voting for Dave at www.xmvote.com! He's up to 43 votes - which may not sound like much, but considering the highest ranker on the site has 106 votes, this is not too shabby!! If we can overtake Phlash Phelps (another great DJ on XM), this will really be a feather in Dave's cap!

April 19th, 2004

Time to show support for Dave's show!!!

There's a site where you can vote for your favorite "everything" at XM!

If anyone would like to pick up the torch and create the new setlists, please e-mail me at: webmaster@davetherave.com.

Let XM know how much you appreciate Dave's show!!
If you like the show, let the Program Director of XM's "60's on 6" channel know how much! His name is Cleveland Wheeler and his email is: sixties@xmradio.com

    March 27th 2004

Dave's 18th show is now up in the Audio Archives!

    March 20th 2004

We added a new section to the site called Feedback... These are a few of the e-mails that Dave has received regarding his show and this site...

Added some new Dave the Rave pictures in the Images section!

Dave's 17th show is now up in the Audio Archives!

Warning! This show's quality is questionable - the tape that I use for Dave's show finally went bad after using and re-using it so many times. It is stil listenable, but there are frequent sound drops throughout the show. Sorry about that kids, but it *is* listenable (as long as you aren't a perfectionist)..

    March 13th 2004

Dave's 16th show is now up in the Audio Archives!

    March 6th 2004

Dave's 15th show is now up in the Audio Archives!

February 28th 2004 -Another Late edition!

Dave's 14th show was actually aired at 8pm tonight, so I was able to tape it and post it in the Audio Archives. Next week will air a new episode three times!

    February 28th 2004

Ok folks, the word for today is "Snafu".... Dave's show today was a repeat of show #3 from December 6th... After a phone call to the man himself, I found out there were technical problems somewhere in the No Static Attic.

Not to worry tho, as Dave says todays real show will be broadcast 3 times next week! Besides it's good to hear those songs again... How many times do you hear Bent Bolt & The Nuts "Mechanical Man" and The Changing Colours "Want you by My Side" on the radio anyway?

Go to the Audio section and re-listen to Show #3!

    February 21st 2004 - Late edition!

Setlist for todays show is now up

Added some stuff to our Links section... If you have any relevant links, send em over to webmaster@davetherave.com. I can't promise I'll put them all up, but I'll try...

Also, While surfing around, I found an early 2003 tribute to Dave's old gig as a jock for WPDQ radio in Freehold, NJ. I think anyone who ever heard his show there will appreciate it and agree with it!  See the tribute page here

February 21th 2004 - Lots of news today!

Todays show is now up! (the missing file has now been corrected)

Your e-mails to XM have been working! In response to all the positive feedback on Dave's show, XM is adding another timeslot to catch Dave's show! Starting Friday, March 5th at 11pm, you can catch the first airing of Dave's weekly show on XM 60's on 6.

Keep sending those e-mails - The e-mail address for Cleve Wheeler - the 60's on 6 program director's is here.

Remember, today is the day that I will be starting to remove some of the old show archives to make space for the new shows. There will be an archive of the setlists for those shows available here.

I also have a request for all you record experts. I received an e-mail from one of my other website accounts asking if I had ever heard of a song (possibly) titled "Hey Conductor" which starts off "Hey Conductor, Sell me a ticket man!" The only other info I have is that he had mistakenly credited the song to Richard and the Young Lions. If you know the answer, please e-mail me at webmaster@davetherave.com. Thanx!

Ok, the new show is up in the Archives. Also, the set list for Dave's missing show and today's show are now up thanx to the fast work of puterguy1!

I had given up hope of ever seeing Dave's 7th show (the missing one from Jan 3), but thanks to a fan known as "dtrfan", we now have it in the Audio Archives!!! I don't know how you got it, but I'm happy you did..

Speaking of the archives - part 1, We're looking for someone to record Dave's XM show as a backup. There's been a few weeks where I almost missed it, and got everything ready and hit record at literally the last second. So, its just a matter of time before I space out and actually miss it... Tips on how to easily record on the Archives page.

Speaking of the archives - part 2, we're about to max out our alloted space on the DaveTheRave.com server, so starting with next weeks show (Feb 21st), we are going to start rolling off some of the old shows to make room for new shows... So if you haven't downloaded the old shows yet and you still want them, do so before next weekend!

See ya tomorrow for the new show update!!
